Ryan.... OMG! You have such an amazing talent for photography. I started looking at your photos and just couldn’t stop! After a 5 hour review period I have selected 273 of my FAVORITES to print! How the hell am I to decide what goes into picture frames!! I am overwhelmed and overjoyed by the beauty of these photos. Trevor reviewed them all last night as well and shared the same obsession. I was laughing and crying while viewing the photos. So beautiful!!!!! You perfectly captured who Trevor and I are as a couple and we love it. Before we were officially engaged, my fiancé and I researched photographers and set up a meeting with Ryan. Not only had he worked with many of our friends for their weddings, but we LOVED (and still love) his style. What a bonus it was when we met with Ryan and discovered that he's also just the nicest and most genuine human on the planet, and SO fun to work with! Our very first meeting was a casual "get to know each other" meeting over coffee, as much for him to get to know us as for us to get to know him! Over the next few months, he was so flexible in working with us as we tried to nail down dates and venues, a location for the engagement shoot, any possible videographers, and the actual day-of itinerary! He is a bundle of energy who is passionate about bringing our love to life in the shots he takes. We have said several times since our engagement shoot how neither of us thought it was possible to feel so comfortable while having photos taken, but with Ryan it was just like a fun night out in the mountains with a buddy who just so happens to take that best pictures ever.
Of note, Ryan has been super respectful of my fiancé's low-profile social media presence, and has worked closely with us to be sure any of his posts featuring us are cleared by us prior to posting. His professionalism is overshadowed only by his friendliness and kindness, and we couldn't be happier to have such a guy sharing our most intimate day with us and our families! Thank you, Ryan, for everything you have done for us so far, and we can't wait for our upcoming wedding with you behind the lens to capture it!

Where do I even start?! Ryan is incredible! From the moment we met him for coffee, we knew he would fit right in with us and our families. He was extremely easy going, fun and helpful - whenever we had questions he was right there with answers. He was super accommodating to our requests and had tons of ideas for locations for photos. He made us feel comfortable throughout the whole planning process (especially my husband who hates getting his picture taken!!) as well as on our big day :). We were also lucky enough to have a bit of an adventure session with him a few days after our wedding, which was one of our favorite days and some our of favorite photos.
As for the photos....I can't even describe how elated we are with the pictures he took of us! He captured the most precious moments, even ones that were surprises to us, and we couldn't be happier! He was so outgoing and excited during both days and he made us feel right at home while he took our photos, which can be intimidating!! We would recommend Ryan to anyone and everyone and will probably continue to ask him for future photos!

Where to start on how amazing Ryan was on our wedding day? Well I guess before that was our first experience with professional photography, our engagement shoot. My fiancé and I were very nervous about having our photos done and Ryan had such an amazing way of making us feel relaxed and confident! He’s photos really capture or love for each other and our silly sides as well. When it came to our wedding day we had a rowdy bunch of guys in our wedding party and knew we needed someone who had the constitution to deal with them! Ryan swooped in and fit in with our entire party and guests as if he was a part of the family making everyone more relaxed and comfortable both behind and in front of the camera. He worked tirelessly to capture every emotional moment (and there were many) but never blocked views or distracted from what was happening just became a part of the room. Our photos are beyond amazing!! Just looking through them brought us back to each moment and caused tears to flood our eyes once again!! Highly, highly recommend him for every occasion! I know we will be using him to help capture all of life’s precious moments.

Ryan was so easy to work with, and it's pretty evident that he has a true passion for photography. He was more than prepared, as we requested a specific idea as to where we wanted our photos - or at least what the back drop would be. Ryan scouted out some locations, and found exactly what we were looking for. We arrived on time, and Ryan had already taken the time to check out where the best shots for lighting would be. His easy going personality made it easy for the 2 of us feel comfortable throughout the whole shoot.
We are very happy with how the photos came out, and look forward to working with him on our Wedding day. The engagement photos were exactly what we were looking for with our vision. We would highly recommend Ryan to any of our friends or family looking for a photographer for their wedding, or any other special occasion.

We would highly recommend Ryan! He took our engagement photos and he will be taking our wedding photos this summer. We booked Ryan before ever really talking to him because his portfolio as an adventure wedding photographer were just that incredible. People told me that this was a risk because personality and compatibility can be equally important.
However, within the first 30 seconds of meeting him, my partner and I were relieved to see how easy-going and friendly Ryan was. Throughout our shoot, Ryan not only made us feel comfortable but fostered an environment where we actually had so much fun! We had never done a legit shoot together as a couple but it felt more natural and enjoyable than we had both expected. It’s obvious that taking photos is a huge passion for Ryan; he braved chilly weather with us, and (with our consent) extended our time because the setting and photos were turning out so well.
And, it was worth it because we could not be happier with the final product! We are looking forward to having even more of a blast shooting with Ryan and all of our favorite people on our big day!

Ryan is amazing! He did both our engagement photos and wedding photos, and they both turned out so beautiful. I honestly couldn’t ask for anything more...he exceeded all my expectations!
Ryan is so accommodating, easy to be around and VERY reasonably priced! The forecast for the day of our wedding was calling for huge amounts of rain. In the days prior to the wedding, Ryan reached out to me and suggested buying some cute umbrellas and helped me look for indoor spaces we could take photos in case we got rained out. I feel like he went above and beyond to ensure we felt at ease the day of our wedding, despite the crazy weather we were expecting.
We had a big Lebanese/Italian wedding, and Ryan captured it beautifully. He didn’t miss a single detail!!! Thank you so much Ryan for being so accommodating with us and for the beautiful photos! I can’t wait for the next opportunity we get to take photos with you again!

The best experience! We asked Ryan to travel 2 hours to my hometown for our engagement photos. With having the worst weather possible, Ryan came prepared and ready for anything. Our photos turned out amazing, and he was able to find an incredible mix of beautiful scenery and intimate moments (even in bad weather). Advice given to us before choosing a photographer was to pick someone you can spend the day with, and Ryan is just that!

Ryan did a fantastic job of our engagement photos!! We really wanted photos on a skating rink as we both love hockey and we thought it would be a little different. When our original photo date was a little too soon in winter and we had no ice anywhere, Ryan was so accommodating and re-booked us so we could get exactly what we wanted. I just received our photos back and they are all perfect! We had a blast taking our photos and can't thank him enough for trekking through snow and lying on ice to capture some incredible shots for us.

We really wanted our engagement photos done at moraine lake before it closed. When we arrived the weather was changing every 10 minutes, but we were hopeful the weather would cooperate. (living in Alberta that was surly not the case) Needless to say Ryan was great keeping us moving, and laughing. He was so positive the whole time even thou we were frozen and wet. We received our photos a few days ago and I can't stop looking at them. I think I have favorited pretty much all of them! Thanks so much for climbing through trees to get these amazing photos for us!

Last minute I decided I wanted to have some pictures taken of my childhood home before the new owner took possession. I wanted pictures of the special touches of my dad's beloved home since the early 60s. It hadn't occurred to me to have these pictures taken while my dad's possessions were still in the home but Ryan was incredibly imaginable and artistic. My pictures turnout out to be so much more than I had hoped for and Ryan was so accommodating rushing in to the rescue at the last minute days before the new buyers possession date. Ryan also talked me into having some family photos done at the same time which I will be eternally grateful for. Ryan made me and my family (including the dog) feel so natural and comfortable. He is personable, and kind, and willing to try any kind of pose you want but also had great poses that made us look AWESOME! Ryan was fun, very go with the flow, and easy to work with without sacrificing quality. He was picky about all the right things while still keeping the experience casual and lovely.
He took photos outside for hours in 2 degree, rainy weather and scouted new photo locations at the last minute when ours got rained out, all with enthusiasm and an incredibly positive attitude.
He got the photos back to us quickly and they all look great. We have a photo of almost everyone at our wedding, plus all the finishing touches that made our day special.

We loved working with Ryan and I certainly would recommend! For our engagement shoot, he found us a beautiful, unique location in the mountains. He made us both feel super comfortable in front of the camera! Our photos turned out so great (and he even “rushed” them so I could have them in time for the wedding!!) and from there we were excited to have him shoot our wedding at our farm.
Again, he did not disappoint. He was great with juggling different personalities, so easy-going and fun, and of course the end result is really special. He was able to work with different locations easily and was very much all about making the couple happy. I truly think he was able to capture the day in a way that will be forever memorable.
